Facebook Custom Audiences
Send your data from the catalog to Facebook Custom Audiences.
The Facebook Custom Audiences connector enables sending customer segments from your catalog directly to Facebook’s advertising platform to streamline audience targeting and enhance campaign personalization across multiple channels. This integration ensures that your audience data is accurately synced and regularly updated, delivering precisely defined customer segments effortlessly into your ad campaigns. It empowers marketing teams to create highly targeted audiences based on first-party data, improve campaign relevance, and develop more effective acquisition and retention strategies, boosting advertising performance and driving higher conversion rates across the organization.
1. Add your Facebook Custom Audiences access

In the Destinations tab, click on the “Add destination” button located on the top right of your screen. Then, select the Facebook Custom Audiences option from the list of connectors.

Click Next and you’ll be prompted to add your access.
- Facebook authorization: Complete Facebook authorization with an account that has access to the Facebook Ad Account you want to send data to.
- Facebook Ad Accounts: Select the specific Facebook Ad Account to which the data will be sent to.
- Create a new audience or use an existing one?: The connector is able to send data to an existing Audience or create a new one.
- Create a new audience:
- Audience name: Name audience that will be create on Facebook.
- Audience description: Description of the audience that will be create on Facebook.
- Use existing audience:
- Audience ID: Get audience identifier on Facebook Ads Manager. For detailed instructions, click here.
- Create a new audience:
- Would you like Nekt to automatically hash fields required by Facebook?: When enabled, Nekt automatically hash fields required by Facebook Custom Audience: “Email”, “Phone”, “GEN (Gender)”, “FN (First Name)”, “LN (Last Name)”, “FI (First Name Initial)”, “ST (State)”, “CT (City) ”, “ZIP (Zip code)”, “Country (Country Code)”, “DOBY (Birth Year)”, “DOBM (Birth Month)”, “DOBD (Birth Day)”. Click Next.
2. Select your catalog data to send
- The next step is letting us know which data you want to send to the spreadsheet. Select the layer and then the desired table.
Tip: The table can be found more easily by typing its name.
- Click Next.
3. Map your Facebook Custom Audiences data to send

Select the fields of Facebook Custom Audiences that you want to send data. For detailed instructions, click here.

For each field selected, select the column from your input table that will be used.

Click Next.
4. Configure your Facebook Custom Audiences data destination

Describe your destination for easy identification within your organization. You can inform things like what data it brings, to which team it belongs, etc.

To define your Trigger,consider how frequently you need to have the data updated on the destination (every day, once a week, only at specific times, etc.).

Click Done.
Check your new destination!

Once completed, you’ll receive confirmation that your new destination is set up!

You can view your new destination on the Destinations page. Now, for you to be able to see it on Facebook Ads Manager, you have to wait for the pipeline to run. You can monitor it on the Destinations page to see its execution and completion. If needed, manually trigger the pipeline by clicking on the refresh icon. Once executed, your data should be seen on Facebook Ads Manager.
